LE FIVE plays its part !

LE FIVE lives by its "Game On" credo and has been committed to sport for all over the past 12 years, with a focus on three key goals: one, making its facilities available to as many people as possible; two, making sport more inclusive by breaking down barriers—whether financial, geographic, sociodemographic, cultural or disability-related—to create a more tight-knit society that supports its youth; and three, making sport an integral part of everyone's life in the long term.

LE FIVE's founders have also used these three goals to achieve a fourth: making sure our facilities don't sit empty during the day, when so many people need sport and related infrastructure.

LE FIVE, ça joue !

Through the "GAME ON FOR EVERYONE" programm, every year, LE FIVE :

- opens three or four new facilities to promote sport for all: over half of these centres are in disadvantaged neighbourhoods. In 2020, when the final whistle blew on the first wave of lockdowns that had benched the sport for so long in France, LE FIVE opened two new facilities in Paris (17th arrondissement) and Marville (Parc des Sports in La Courneuve), through a partnership with Paris city council and the CD 93 district football association.

- provide over 10,000 hours a year of game time for schools, associations and clubs across its facilities, either completely or practically free of charge. LE FIVE has teamed up with the French National Sports Agency (ANS) to double that figure in the next 18 months. Our network has already hosted more than 1,000 associations and schools and over 160,000 young players over the past 12 years.

- step up partnerships and collaborations to make sport more inclusive and responsible: with child welfare associations (Priorité Enfance - La Vie au Grand Air), with outreach organisations (shelters and reintegration initiatives with Emmaüs and Le Lycée de la 2ème Chance in Argenteuil, for example), and with sponsors (such as Adidas for women's football).

- encourage adapted sports for people with physical disabilities (including a nationwide partnership with Cécifoot and the French blind-football team, along with the Papillons Blancs association in Alsace) and autism (Princes de Cœurs in Reims).
